MOONDANCE & THE ROYAL WEDDING

Steven Wilhelm, Indianapolis, Indiana mail carrier, and winning film score composer at Moondance International Film Festival 2010, learned, via an official notification on Prince Williams's letterhead, that his winning song, “I Fell in Love With You”, was played at William and Kate's royal wedding reception in London!

Moondance is always . . . independent, mostly uncensored*, totally unfettered, often irreverent, and definitely not beholden to any special interests! We select films, written works and music with these criteria: a unique story, well-told. (* mostly uncensored, except for gratuitous violence)

About MermaidsStories of the Mer-Folk, especially Mermaids, exist in nearly every culture around the world where there are oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers or streams. Human-like, except for their iridescent, scaly tails, Mermaids and Mermen have fascinated humans for thousands of years. Because the largest of these mystical beings exist in the oceans, most people are not aware that smaller versions of the Mer-Folk live in inland rivers, streams, marshes, and large or small waterfalls. Like many other magical, mythological beings, the Mermaids travel easily between this world and the astral planes, appearing only to those who truly seek to know them and to learn their ancient powers.

InkTip ~ Find a good script writer
Colorado Office of Film Television and Media
I went to Pitchfest in LA last weekend and pitched my screenplay. Four producers want to read the screenplay. I noticed that as soon as I mentioned it was a finalist at Moondance, the immediate response was, "Send it to me." Thank you so much for letting me "name-drop" like that. What a world of difference it has made in creating instant interest in my screenplay!
