A woman discovers her husband is having an affair. The situation may be a cliché but her solution is creative and inspired.

SYNOPSIS:
Jim is 50’s, debonair and a babe-magnet (he thinks). His wife Janice, plain and efficient, is more interested in her immaculate home and her cleaning business than she is in Jim. He is interested in younger, slimmer, blonde Marlene and his “vintage” car.
Their disorganised daughter Lorraine is married to Rafi, a Yorkshire-born Pakistani. Rafi’s parents Muhammed and Aleena are resigned to his unfortunate marriage now that they have a grandson, Muhammed-James.
When Janice discovers the affair, Lorraine and Rafi attempt – and fail – to make Jim sort himself out. But a divorce in the family could be the last straw for Muhammed and Aleena.
Inspired by a TV wildlife show, Janice finds her own, creative solution. A solution which should satisfy everyone whilst maintaining the honour of the extended family-by-marriage. The only possible loser is Jim’s ancient Morris Traveller |

SYNOPSIS:
Greg Starr has just become the newest resident in his town's only retirement home. He's lonely and lethargic. Depression sets in until he makes new friends. His family visits, but seem more concerned with their own lives and problems.
A new owner purchases the retirement home, and begins to implement changes. There is a staff turnover, and budget cuts. The traditional morning coffee is replaced with juice, and bland tapioca is substituted for the afternoon snack of delicious chocolate pudding. Residents grumble, but take no action until Greg rallies them. He and his small group of new friends hatch a plan to save the day.
Greg learns that there is still life and love after age seventy, and he helps to bring a new sense of excitement and purpose to the elderly residents of the Sunny Springs Retirement Home. |
